According to the latest report offered by the General Council of Notaries, home sales in August stood at 19,067 transactions, representing an annual increase of 7.3%. By type of property, the sale of flats showed an increase of 4.4% and floors free price rose 5.7%.
These data increases due to the rise in the sale of second-hand flats (8.7%). Also on sale of houses, which has shown an increase of 17.4% between January and August this year.
The report also indicates that the evolution of the mortgage market for home purchases reflects the upturn in the housing sector. The number of mortgage loans made in the month of August was 14,732, representing an increase of 9.6%.
