Russian tourism grows in Marbella. Every year more increases the number of Russian visitors to the Costa del Sol, especially Marbella.
Malaga airport receives each year thousands of Russian tourists, and every year, an increasing number of Russians who choose Marbella as a destination, compared to the rest of Spain, which has been decreasing gradually.
Many Russians come to the Costa del Sol as tourists, but then the weather, hospitability, gastronomy, cultural and Mediterranean coasts were “forced” to stay and buy a house in the area of Marbella, Estepona, Mijas, among others.
The profile of Russian tourists coming over, are women, according to the latest research, with 60% female and 40% male.
Marbella is near Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia a favorite for the Russian tourist cities, and now, it seems it will remain so for a long time.
