FUENGIROLA:
Concerts in the Sohail Castle. In summer this Moorish-style fortress is turned into a stunning open-air auditorium. Imagine enjoying a concert sitting on a hill by the Mediterranean Sea. A unique experience only available in Fuengirola.
The Beer Festival of Fuengirola is celebrated from 3 to 19th of July. It is a famous festival in honour of the Oktoberfest in Munich, where several traditional German dishes as well as craft beers are served. It takes place within the Sohail Castle as well. Feria del Carmen 2018: The Fair of Los Boliches in Fuengirola is held from the 12 to the 16th of July. It is situated in the “Recinto Ferial”, a large area where several fairground attractions, spectacles and traditional food and dances can be found during this weekend.
MIJAS
La Cala de Mijas Fair: Starting on the 25th on July until the 29th. For four days there are dances, musical performances, various fair attractions and a thunderous concluding firework show. If you are passionate about flamenco and horses, this is your event!
If you fancy some shopping and street markets, La Cala de Mijas offers several options from the Ecological market (22nd July) to second hand markets every Sunday!
MARBELLA:
Starlite is the best boutique festival in Europe with more than 50 days of concerts. Music, culture and gastronomy gather in a single place. It’s a unique event for those who want to enjoy close and intimate concerts in an incomparable venue. Virgen del Carmen: On the afternoon of July 16 takes place the maritime procession of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of fishermen; a beautiful and touching procession, where the Virgin is carried into the sea among hundreds of flowers. Do not miss it!
