Marbella, where there are most luxury and expensive properties in Spain

Marbella street priciest in Spain for luxury rentals

A street in Puerto Banus has been crowned the ‘most expensive’ for luxury rentals in the country.

With home prices averaging at €26,667 a month, Calle Granados is head and shoulders more expensive to rent than anywhere else, according to Idealista.com.

This lush street in Puerto Banus runs along the water houses chalets.

Second in line is the Calle Monestir in the Pedralbes district of Barcelona, former home of the Infanta Cristina, where renters pay an average of a pocket-emptying €20,000 a month, followed by Avenida Tibidabo, in Barcelona at €14,732, and the Paseo de Los Lagos in the Madrid suburb Pozuelo de Alarcon at €13,855.

Ibiza closes out the list of Marbella, Barcelona and Madrid with the Avenida Juan Carlos I, which just squeaks by the list’s lower limit of €10,000 at €10,624.
