Home sales rose 24.2% in August from the same month in 2014, to the 29,369 operations, according to data transmissions property rights published Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute (INE). With the rise this month, housing sales chains 12 consecutive months of annual increases.

In August, the highest number of house sales per 100,000 inhabitants was in Valencia (110). In absolute terms, Andalusia continued at the head of house sales in the eighth month of the year, with 5,984 operations, followed by Valencia (4,335), Catalonia (4,286) and Madrid (4242).
